Antequera is a village where the monuments, including the Menga Caves and the Romeral Caves, are the main attraction. In Antequera you can try the typical dishes of the region such as porra antequerana (a thick, cold, tomato based soup), las migas caseras (breadcrumbs fried in olive oil with garlic and often chorizo), accompanied with the typical mollete antequerano (a soft bread roll). This Andalusian village combines the modern - with its several shopping centres - with the prehistoric. Take a walk through the time and enjoy our wonderful history.
